Who cares if money is collected by govt or private - The problem is "how the heathcare money is spent".
0 ptsCurrently $millions are spent on salaries, buidings and profits of insurance companies. Not to mention paying politicians, malpractice lawyers and treatment denial experts. On a pie chart of how the cash is spent, you wll see that probably 5% goes to health care providers and facilities. Govt regulation is needed, not to collect the cash but to clean up the spending of it. This is the reason why insurance companies are scared, they currently enjoy using all the cash for everything but heathcare. -
